12 Arrested After Deadly Jakarta Attack
Indonesian police have arrested 12 people in connection with Thursday’s deadly attack in front of a Starbucks in central Jakarta, including one accused of having received a wire transfer from the alleged ISIS-linked operative suspected of orchestrating the assault, the country’s police chief said yesterday.
Two people –– an Indonesian and a Canadian –– were killed and 26 other people were injured Thursday as a suicide bomber and gunmen launched an attack near the coffee store, police have said.
Four attackers also are dead, following the bombing and a firefight with police.
