How To Stop Whatsapp From Sharing Your Data With Facebook

Recently, Whatsapp has given us the option either to allow our data to be shared with Facebook or not to be shared with Facebook for advertisement purposes. 

In this post, i will show you how you can stop Whatsapp from sharing your data with Facebook.

As we all know that the CEO of Facebook --Mark Zuckerberg-- is also the owner of Whatsapp Messenger. So, don't be surprise to ask what does Facebook has to do with Whatsapp.

HOW TO STOP WHATSAPP FROM SHARING YOUR DATA WITH FACEBOOK

Update your Whatsapp to the latest version. If you are already using the latest version of Whatsapp, kindly open your Whatsapp, you should see the updated Terms of Service and Privacy Policy waiting for you. Do not Click on AGREE. You will see an arrow saying "Read more of our updated Terms and Privacy Policy".

Click on the arrow.

You should see a checked box on the next page, just UNTICK the box and tap on AGREE.

Doing this will stop WhatsApp from sharing your personal data with Facebook.
