Retired civil servants in Edo State on Tuesday protested against the non-payment of their entitlements in Benin.

The pensioners, bearing placards and singing solidarity songs, staged the protest under the aegis of the Edo State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners.
The pensioners had taken to the streets on August 8 demanding the payment of their arrears, which they said ranged from seven months to 42 months.
