Reported Liverpool target Neven Subotic has vowed to fight for his place at Borussia Dortmund.
Subotic, 27, has dropped down the pecking order at Borussia under new coach Thomas Tuchel, partly as a result of injuries.
The centre-back, who was a key player in Jurgen Klopp's Dortmund side, has made only four appearances for the club this season in all competitions and has failed to make the squad on occasions.
On Tuesday, he posted a message on his Facebook account to say he would use the upcoming break between the final match of the year and the winter training camp in Dubai to get in shape to "improve my situation" for the second half of the season.
Subotic -- who was an unused substitute in Sunday's 4-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday -- added: "My clear goal is to return to the role in which you have seen me in the last couple of years."
